| 1979 | Ulrich Benz, son of Gertrud Benz, takes over the company, focusing primarily on the production of specialist paper products. |
| 1989 | Blessing takes over Wilhelm F Bünten GmbH & Co KG in the town of Scheer near Sigmaringen (north of Lake Constance). The company moves to Kirchheim, south west of Stuttgart, in 2004. |
| 1992 | The company creates the Euro-Kombi 2 in 1 pocket in partnership with CeWe Color laboratories. |
| 2000 | The son of Ulrich Benz, Martin Benz, enters the business as Managing Director, assuming the role of managing partner at Blessing GmbH & Co KG in June 2002. |
| 2003 | Thomas Schwarz is appointed second company director to work alongside Martin Benz. After more than 4 decades at the company, Ulrich Benz resigns from the management board to assume his role as chairman of the newly formed three-person advisory board. |
