Born in 1970, Thomas Schwarz is the member of the board responsible for all operational issues as well as human resources.

After completing an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, Schwarz held a number of positions in service departments in the label printing field before embarking on a degree in industrial engineering in Karlsruhe, Germany, and Toronto. Schwarz gained further industrial experience in machine engineering for the graphical industry at Heidelberg Web Press Inc in the United States. Before coming to Blessing in 2001, initially as a consultant in process and quality management, Schwarz worked as a consultant for debis and T-Systems, specialising in Process and Organisation.

Schwarz became a member of the management board at Blessing in 2003 as successor to Ulrich Benz. Since 2004 Thomas Schwarz also holds this position at the newly formed BlessOF GmbH.
